We synchronized a number of other changes after changing the payment mechanism on Marketplace (BNB to BUSD) to reduce the risk of Heroes & Empires users losing NFT value when trading on Marketplace. Building an in-game store, in particular, can make it simple for all users (particularly traditional users) to pay for items without having to go through the Marketplace.

🎊 So, as part of the June buy back program, we purchased some NFTs to supplement the in-game store.

Specific figures

There are now approximately 20,000,000 HE tokens burned from strategic partner round investment funds after Heroes & Empires changed the new vesting mechanism.

NFTs to be bought back: 243 NFTs (including 12 Heroes with high tiers from tier Immortal and above, 131 Hero tier Epic, 100 Hero tier Rare).

Target

With the June 2022 buyback program, the game used Marketplace revenue to buy back cheap NFTs in the market with the goal of:

Burning high tier NFTs to increase the value and scarcity of user NFTs.
To encourage players to turn around capital and increase liquidity for NFTs, the game will burn high-ranking NFTs.
Heroes with tiers ranging from Rare to Epic will be bought and hung in the In-game Store (currently under construction) so that traditional players can purchase them (the price in the Store is 30% higher than the Buy Back price on the Marketplace). And the revenue from "In App Purchases" will be used to continue to Buy Back on Marketplace. This process is still ongoing; once completed, we will publish the list of hero buys and TXIDs of burn orders.
