💎 Our Discord AMA went really well, with a large number of players participating, which is great news for the Heroes & Empires team. Your suggestions and feedback have acted as a powerful motivator for us to improve our flaws. We, the game development team, would want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Heroes who have always stood by us.
💎 Following that, for those of you who missed live AMA, we'd like to summarize some key points so that everyone can keep up.

Q: When will the Ultimate NFT gear be listed in Marketplace?
A: They will be listed next Tuesday.
Q: When will the VIP retroactive rewards be delivered?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot retrieve the data of $HE utilized before, we did try but it was too difficult and there was a lot of inconsistencies, so we decided to keep only the VIP chapters rewards retroactive and move on counting the token spend from now on.
Q: When and how are the decisions to change the game?
A: The community got upset with the number of updates that we did in the beginning of the project, because we got to a point where we did 2-3 patches per week. But, please understand that we are only in the beginning and the game is in BETA. Some bugs that we found had the potential to harm the economy, and actually one of them was the main reason why the token and NFT value started to fall. As we approach of full release on April, we will reduce the number of patches to 1 per month with changes being announced in advance to give time for the players to adapt for those changes.
Q: Which data do you use to balance game modes?
A: First we use data of win rate of certain hero in PvE. Second place we check the data of how often certain Heroes are used on teams, especially in PvE. Also, we analyze the number of retries those players do at certain stages. If one chapter has a lot of retries, we understand it as a higher difficulty for the players so we will tune it down a little bit. This work both ways if certain stages seems to be super easy. We want to make this kind of data public once per week or month, we are still undecided.
Q: Will you invest in marketing when release the full mobile version?
A: We won’t begin with marketing before Q1 because after many meetings with the team we decided that we need to make the game more stable and fix other bugs before marketing campaigns. We will mostly do them with our player base from our mobile games and large guilds.
Q: When will the DAO come and if HE isn’t prepared to listen to the community right now, how can we trust that you will be able to do it for any DAO feature in future?
A: It is planned for the Q2 this year. We want to strength the community transferring some of the decisions to the token holders and users. But before we release, we need to make the game more stable and have the full release at ready. We got a lot of feedbacks from our game partner VNZ (www.twitch.tv/vnztwitch) and some of those ideas are viable and some are technically impossible for us to implement. But regardless we will take them into account for any future decisions for the game.
We need to let the game more sustainable before being able to transfer final decisions to the users, otherwise it will be a mess. There are players asking for us to raise the rewards 10 times, and if we allow one poll on this regard there is a change that if it gets approved it wouldn’t be beneficial to the game, because raising rewards without new players in same proportion would create inflation problems. Also, some players are already asking for us to reduce current rewards. If we look at the gamify market, all the games with some exceptions are suffering. It is best to use this moment to polish the game, make it more stable and then start with marketing.
Q: When will the next games be released and how will they help HE?
A: We announced a couple weeks ago about the Metaverse, but we have no game ready yet. We have the non-blockchain for tests though. We need to define Tokenomic, but we will just do this when HE is stabilized, sustainable and once we have more resources for our team. The most approximated date is on Q2 or 3 this year. Will depend on the resources. This will help the economy by amplifying our influence on market, and They will be good games.
Since the other 2 games will use the same NFTs from HE this would help the economy. It is a benefit to players. Our company launches games every year so we could also add more games to our metaverse. We still didn’t start them yet, any feedback is welcome.
Since there will be the same NFT’s and Token between the games, you will be able to disconnect from a game and make profit on another game from our Metaverse in anytime. This will open the door for a lot of profit possibilities besides Heroes & Empires. We will announce more info in the end of Q1, in the next chat with the Community.
We want that NFTs recover their value to be the true asset. Differently of other games that focus more in the Token. Our focus always was on NFTs and we think the Metaverse will be something that will help us the reach that objective.
Q: You guys could change the withdraw of the game to reduce fees with time and not with the progression on chapters?
A: We disagree with this Idea because that will benefit multi-Accounts, because they can just wait the time, sell everything and create a thousand accounts. The current system provides the way for the player to reach the chapter 10 and them withdraw without taxes. The player can reach that chapter on one week or 10 days.
Q: There could be added taxes in the Stake Pool as a burn of HE, this could create a positive image and amplify the reputation of the game.
A: The way that we have now, the taxes are going back to the reward pool. The players don’t need to worry because the taxes are being returned to players in form of rewards.
Q: The BNB of the marketplace was not to pay minting fees of NFTs inside the game?
A: This was the first objective because of the number of minted Heroes every day and the BNB tax is too high. But the market fee is not sufficient right now to cover the mint costs inside the game. Because of that, we are changing the HE fee based on the volume of NFTs minted and the current price of the Token. You can verify our wallet, we are very transparent on that.
At this time, we are using the BNB tax of the market to help the cost of the minting but we are settling meetings of the team, searching for the definitive solution, considering other Blockchains.
To be clear no gas is paid by the player. The game pays the BNB operations and we win nothing of the fees charged.
In the matter of Heroes Summoning, we added HE proportionally to the price of the Token to make the experience of the user on the mobile version easier, since they could not pay the gas in BNB.
To solve this problem of gas fee, the first option is to let everything inside our off-chain servers and only pay fees when the player wants to sell the NFT in the Market.
Second option is to Search a new Blockchain with cheaper taxes.
Third option would be a FORK in this Blockchain, like Ronin in Axie. We have some good information from our partner on BSC that they plan to launch a second layer specific to NFTs with ZERO fees that we could wait to use.
Q: Do you plan to fix the difficulty and power of the teams on campaign mode? Even the wales can’t finish their daylies.
A: We put the Power Cap to stop cheaters and that created a problem to the more advanced players. Also the phases have a difficulty issue that even the maxed players couldn’t pass. We will remove this on the next few days and find a way that advanced players could finish their daylies even without progressing on campaign.
We also plan to reduce the power of some stages. According to the players advance they begin to face teams completely equipped while the players doesn’t have theirs maxed. This will work also to reduce the disproportional power of the Ultimate’s Equipment’s. That removes some of the pay to win aspect of the game.
Q: Do you pretend to discontinue the I am Hero after the launch of the mobile version of HE?
A: No, they are different games, we have no reason to do that.
I am Hero is, now, a game with more features than HE. These elements will come in the features of Heroes & Empires. I advise you to play the free version to know what is coming next to the Blockchain.
Q: Do you think that the NFT stake system (Bounty Hunter) is sufficient to stop the NFTs value depreciation?
A: In reality the price of the NFTs ais not controlled by us, they are controlled by the market. What we can do is add more elements to generate more value to the game and indirectly to the Heroes. That way the player with more than 15 heroes could win more rewards, proportionally with the number of NFTs he possesses.
Personally, I don’t believe that this element of the game, alone, could solve the problem of the NFTs interest. On my opinion we have to create more value of a fun game and economically stable by refining what we have now and adding new utilities to NFTs, like the Metaverse, for example.
That way, if you are locked on a chapter in Heroes & Empires you can still profit with the other games.
Q: Is the token price so low that it makes the survival of the game more difficult? Could we wait the time to the new game modes to arrive?
A: Firstly, the game isn’t dead and it is not dying. The team continues here developing the game, we will survive and make more games, more content to the game, even with the market low. If you look to other P2E games, the whole market is low, with a few exceptions. We are compromised with the long-term vision and we are developing the game with this in mind.
Q: Do you have a plan to raise the NFTs price to an ideal price?
A: We don’t control the price, but the last months we needed to buy back the token, we didn’t announce it because we didn’t think it was necessary, but we have been utilizing our Money in some situations as for example when the cheaters was sucking the game’s economy. We also extended the time for our early investors to 3 months from to start our Marketing campaign.
Q: What about the matter of the inflation of Heroes on market and the summoning of Heroes?
A: With the launch of the game on mobile we expect to solve this problem of the NFT market. We had about 200,000 pre-orders of the game on the stores. So, we believe that when the game properly launches, these players will enter and consume the actual offer of NFTs on market.
And since we have a lot of experience in the mobile market of games, we pretend to make our Marketing to these players.
With the Money of new features like Lands and Skins, we pretend, if we see that the NFTs inflation on market still an issue, to buy some NFTs to burn.
We are working on the Lands and we want to put then for sell in the feature in big platforms.
The castle part we have in I am hero, we just need to adapt to blockchain and create value to the owner of the construction.
In the actual design we have 5 benefits to the owner of the Lands, for example; obtaining artifacts fragments. That said we will launch the Artifacts update alongside the Lands.
Q: Do you plan to raise more funds to maintain the game running?
A: We are not going to raise any more funds; we already did that at the beginning of the game. What we have is enough, if we take into count the launch of NFT Lands on Q2 and the help of our big partners we had on IDO.
We will not raise funds by selling of Tokens or Heroes.
Q: Do you plan to add more heroes or rarities to the game progress?
A: We are working on 2 new heroes, one of them is almost finished. And we will release it after our Lunar New Year weekend, which runs until the lantern festival (15 days). We will announce the release of the heroes when we return from the long holiday. We are also remodeling some heroes like Nama and Kha, that will be implemented after this holiday.
Q: Could you ask the CEO of Axie for us to use Ronin as well?
A: We actually talked to him, but Ronin is not stable for use outside of Axie. So he wouldn't be able to allow us to use their platform. We took advice from him and we have a very close relationship with Yun, he helps us a lot.
Q: What does our team think about multi-account?
A: We don't have an opinion so we decided to leave it to the community to express their opinion by voting in the poll.
We will take into count the result of the vote for our internal discussion and after that we will make a decision on this topic, and as soon as possible, probably next week we will announce our decision.
Q: New heroes are cool, but new rarities above lvl 240 so we can get to chapter 33 are more important.
A: I don't understand why. Plans to increase the level cap of heroes? No, we have no plans in this regard.
Q: Are you already working on a non-pay to win PVP mode? When do you plan to release?
A: Yes, we are working, it will be the tournament in real time. For the real-time tournament, players will first apply for a new game type, the Grand Tournament. The players with the best placements will be selected for the Real Time Tournament, where they will have Level, Equipment, Rarities, all maxed out and only skill will count. Initially it will only be to the best qualifiers, but after this testing phase we will open it up for all other players to participate in this mode.
Q: Legend Tournaments rewards are very low compared to Arena. Do you plan to increase or balance this?
A: Yes, today the first benefit of the tournament is to receive coins that accumulate inside the chest and you can exchange them for heroes in the store. The second benefit is the reward at the end of the season. Next season we will extend the period by 2 more weeks, so in practice both the tournament and the arena will end together, so you can focus your entire performance in just one day to go up and achieve better rewards that will be doubled.
We are hiring a new marketing expert, and we will hold most of the marketing campaigns until the situation in the crypto market and NFTs games improves.
Quyet said that we've already lost $1 million in fees since the beginning, that's why it's so important to look for alternatives.
